LXCL:What began in 2015 as a small food and music festival in Port Hope has grown into a recognized charitable arts organization producing year-round programming, including Cultivate Festival, The Road to Cultivate, and Hibernate Festival. All designed to bring you closer to what you love. Cultivate is a creative force and leader of a vibrant local arts community. All of our programming is built with Access, Belonging, and Connection as our guiding light. These are the ABCs of Cultivate.

This campaign supports our community. It opens the doors for everyone. It removes the moment where someone has to ask, “Can we afford this?” Because cost should never be the reason someone stays home. Walk a Little. Dance a Lot! Join us on Thursday, August 27 for&nbsp;Walk the Road to Cultivate, a fun-filled community fundraiser supporting Road to Cultivate and the nine free concerts that bring music, connection, and community to Port Hope each summer. Whether you walk 2 km or 5 km, join as an individual or gather friends, family, coworkers, or neighbours to create a team. This all-ages event is all about celebrating community while helping keep live music accessible for everyone. Registration opens at 5:00 p.m. in Memorial Park and the walk begins at 5:30 p.m. The route starts and finishes in the park, leading straight into the final Road to Cultivate concert of the season featuring the high-energy sounds of Trash Panda Brass. Expect great music, food and drinks, prizes, and plenty of reasons to dance. Whether you&#39;re walking, fundraising, cheering from the sidelines, or hitting the dance floor, there&#39;s a place for everyone. Walk the Road To Cultivate

What is Cultivate Festival? It&rsquo;s the antidote to the pace of modern life. For 10 years, Cultivate has been a place to slow down, tune in, and spend a weekend surrounded by great music, good food, open sky, and people you actually want to be around. From September 25&ndash;27, we take over 200 rolling acres at Haute Goat Farm in Port Hope for three days of Canadian music, art, food, play, and community. Cultivate is the ultimate all ages festival.&nbsp; This year, you&rsquo;ll hear Terra Lightfoot, Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Cuff the Duke, Ahmed Moneka, Jimmy Bowskill Band, Durham County Poets, Melissa Payne, Polky, Waahli, Nimkii Osawamick, Doghouse Orchestra, P&auml;ter, Pete Moss, Less Touches and more, alongside workshops, art-making, farm adventures, incredible local food, and plenty of room to wander. Cultivate isn&#39;t about racing from stage to stage or trying to cram everything in. Grab some food. Sit in the grass. Follow a brass band. Make something. Let the kids roam. Stay for a song you&rsquo;ve never heard before. And for the first time, Cultivate Festival is Pay What You Can. Because we believe everyone should have access to great music, art, and community, regardless of what they can afford. We&rsquo;re a nonprofit music charity, and this festival exists to bring people together. Slow down. Tune in. Cultivate.
