Thank you for your interest in OTEC High. OTEC High is a community-powered, relationship-based learning program for students in Grades 10–12. This registration form allows us to confirm enrollment, understand the needs of participating students and families, and finalize planning for the 2026–2027 school year.Please review the OTEC High Handbook before completing this form.Registration closes August 15 to allow time for hiring, and refinement of the program based on registered families. Final program decisions will be communicated by August 25.

Brief History of the Bulkley Valley Collaborative Learning Society: Founded in the spring of 2019, the Bulkley Valley Collaborative Learning Society (BVCLS) is a non-profit organization based in Smithers, dedicated to creating diverse educational opportunities throughout the Bulkley Valley. Our mission is rooted in the belief that through community contribution, we can bridge learners with mentors and create tailored educational experiences. Operating through the EdGE Learning Centre, we offer individual learning programs, provide physical space and equipment for educational initiatives, and actively source grants and resources to fund opportunities and support education across the region.Our Mission:To cultivate connection between learners and mentors, empowering individuals through personalized learning opportunities, and providing resources and space for educational growth.Our Vision:We aim to nurture children into self-aware, socially responsible community members and globally conscious citizens. This is achieved through active engagement in the community, experiential learning in multi-age groups, and curiosity-driven, interest-led exploration. We prioritize safe, inclusive environments that honour the natural learning process, fostering growth through respect, inclusion, and collaboration.Membership BenefitsYour membership supports a vibrant community driven by volunteers, fundraising, donations, and grants.
