Edu Memorial Foundation

The Edu Memorial Foundation advances education and mental health by promoting access, awareness, and equity. It supports initiatives to destigmatize mental health and provides opportunities for 2SLGBTQ+ and international students through community engagement.

The Edu Memorial Foundation shall advance education and mental health as its primary and foremost concerns by promoting access, awareness, and equity, and by supporting initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health through informed dialogue, resource provision, and inclusive engagement. The funds collected through the Foundation will go directly toward furthering this mission through events, programs, and community initiatives. In the year ahead, the Foundation plans to provide high school and post-secondary students with meaningful volunteer and internship opportunities, particularly at a time when practical experience is increasingly becoming a privilege rather than a commonplace opportunity. Additionally, to ensure the furtherance of its mandate, the Foundation shall ensure that its activities remain responsive to the distinct experiences of 2SLGBTQ+, and international students and families, while also serving as a platform for responsible and informed political advocacy in support of mental health, educational access, and community well-being.
