From show stopping ensemble numbers to heartfelt solos and duets, this unforgettable night showcases local performers bringing hits from The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Wicked, Book of Mormon, Hairspray, Frozen, and more to life! This special event is also a fundraiser for Ekko Performing Arts Society, supporting our mission to make performing arts more accessible, inclusive, and affordable in our community. Solstice Sounds&nbsp;brings together the Lake City Orchestra, Ekko Cello Ensemble, and Ekko Kids Choir for an evening of music, community, and shared artistry. As the season shifts into summer, audiences are invited to experience a thoughtful and uplifting concert featuring orchestral works, and collaborative performances. Singin' Out Loud feat. Richard Rockhard Fundraising Concert

For those who believe music deserves to be heard and not talked over. Featured Artist: Reagan Mae Kuzyk (Singer-Songwriter) Reagan Mae Kuzyk is a singer-songwriter originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She currently serves as Vice-President and Director of Community Engagement at Ekko. She teaches voice and piano, as well as both the Ekko Kids Choir and the Out Loud Choir. Outside of Ekko, she is also the frontwoman of Halifax based alt-rock band Montgomery Night. She has been writing songs for more than two decades, &nbsp;combining real life experiences and music, resulting in powerful and meaningful lyrics that are relatable and poignant. As a songwriter, she strives to connect with others and be transparent about the reality of trauma, healing, love, and accountability. Spend an evening listening to the stories behind the songs and learn how and why they came to be.&nbsp; About the Listening RoomIn a world where live music is often treated as background noise, the&nbsp;Ekko Listening Room Concert Series&nbsp;offers something different. Hosted in our heritage home in downtown Dartmouth, the Ekko Listening Room is an intimate performance space designed for focused listening and meaningful connection between artist and audience. With just 24 seats, each concert invites audiences to experience exceptional musicians up close &mdash; creating a room where every note matters and every listener becomes part of the experience. Event Details:Doors open: 45 minutes before the performanceGuests are invited to arrive early to enjoy light refreshments and settle into the space before the music begins. Our reception room will be open before the concert and during intermission for those who wish to relax or enjoy quiet conversation.&nbsp; Non alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Listening Room Concert Series: Reagan Mae Kuzyk

Featured Artist: Adam LeBlanc (Fiddle) Adam LeBlanc has been playing fiddle and violin for over two decades, blending classical training with a deep love of traditional fiddle music. Originally from southeastern New Brunswick, he performs music from across the Atlantic fiddle traditions, including Old-Time Canadian, Acadian, Scottish, Irish, American, and Breton styles. Adam has competed at the&nbsp;Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship&nbsp;and has performed throughout Atlantic Canada, including appearances with&nbsp;Neptune Theatre,&nbsp;Broadway Atlantic, and festivals such as&nbsp;Boxwood&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Maritime Fiddle Festival. He is also the founder of Ekko, where he continues to share the joy of music through performance, education, and community. Adam will be accompanied by Reagan Mae Kuzyk on Piano. As they tackle increasingly difficult (and sometimes questionable) words, they reveal personal stories that are equal parts funny, awkward, and unexpectedly moving. With a Tony Award-winning book by Rachel Sheinkin and a vibrant score by William Finn, this fast-paced show celebrates individuality, ambition, and the pressure to get it right. Presented by Ekko Performing Arts Society at Bus Stop Theatre August 20 to 29, 2026. Please note that tickets are non-refundable. They can be exchanged for an alternate date if space permits.&nbsp;
