Event Name: &ldquo;Step Into Hope &ndash; For FASD Awareness&rdquo; Theme:&nbsp;&ldquo;Every step tells a story of hope.&rdquo; Timing: Wednesday, September 9, 2026, 5:30 p.m. &ndash; 8:30 p.m.&nbsp; Event Location: Rounds Ranch in Elmvale (1922 County Road 92, Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0), just north of Barrie.&nbsp; This family agritainment farm offers over 25 attractions with a fun country-western feel. Ticket Structure: FREE &nbsp;Entry fee includes full access to all Ranchland activities except Pony Rides (Petting Zoo, Tractor Rides, Corn Maze, Slip&rsquo;n&rsquo;Slide if seasonal, Bubble Bash, Playfort, Ropes Course, Pedal Carts, and more).&nbsp; Food, drinks, and snacks are available for separate purchase at the on-site Cookhouse. Your donation provides direct support to individuals and families living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) &nbsp;who are facing isolation, judgement, and stigma on a daily basis. While FASD is more than twice as prevalent than Autism, &nbsp;these families receive little if any financial supports. The little &nbsp;that some families may qualify for, always ends at the age of eighteen, while the disability lasts a lifetime and requires care throughout the lifespan.&nbsp; 1 in 20 lives with FASD. Individuals living with FASD did not cause their disability- it was caused by exposure to alcohol in the womb during gestation. You cannot catch FASD from others. Until healthy pregnancies, women&#39;s health and addictions services are prioritized formally and the alcohol industry is held accountable for the risk of harm, much like the cigarette companies have been held to accounts, for the harm their products cause, FASD will remain a huge cost to taxpayers and will remain the number one Global Neurological Disability.
