Jasper Pride Festival Society

JPFS has organized the annual Jasper Pride & Ski Festival in Jasper, Alberta, Canada since 2009. We are now building year-round visibility through gatherings and events that celebrate and support the wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

A 2026 JUNO Award nominee for Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year, she is also a 2026 Alberta Country Music Award nominee for Female Artist of the Year and a SiriusXM Top of the Country semifinalist. Blending country with elements of soul, rock, and folk, Shawnee&rsquo;s sound is both modern and deeply rooted in storytelling. Inspired by films, they would imagine narratives to escape their reality and began writing songs as a means to accompany the surreal movies they had playing in the back of their mind. To this day Silent St. j continues to use this method to create their music but now using it to explore and understand the intricacies of their neurodiversity, mental health, and the vastness of their emotions. Jasper Pride & Ski Festival: Wonderland Gala April 18 2026

Gather around one long table for an evening of queer community connection via family-style dining on Thursday, April 16 at 6pm 🌈 Feel free to bring friends, but arrive curious and open to forge new friendships as you&#39;re welcomed into mountain town culture with the Jasper Pride Festival Society board. Indulge in a delicious meal of globally inspired and locally sourced food served in set courses. Being an isolated, small mountain town, Jasper Pride &amp; Ski Festival&#39;s roots are anchored deep in wellness and belonging through down to earth authenticity and connection.&nbsp; The hospitality you&#39;ll experience is thanks to Mike &amp; Cyndi Day who have operated Evil Dave&#39;s since 2007. Evil Dave's Friendship Dinner

Audacious Aquafit&nbsp;is a place for all identities to reclaim the potentially difficult swimming pool experiences of our youth, transitioning, or questioning years by joining aquatic instructor and lifequard, Mayce, in an aquafit session of playful movement, music, and silliness.&nbsp; All bodies, all levels, all identities are welcome. Those 12-years and older are welcome as long as they can swim at a LifeSaving Society Swim to Survive standard or have passed a facility swim test. Arrive early to check-in and change. Class starts in the pool at 8:15pm.&nbsp; Jasper Fitness &amp; Aquatic Centre recently completed a massive changing rooms overhaul that has resulted in the entire changing/ washroom/ shower space being a gender neutral facility that is safe and inclusive to all families and all abilities with private stalls for everyone visiting to use. Proper accessibility needs have been addressed at a level not always common in small town pools. The Municipality of Jasper is a Rainbow Registered organization. We thank the Municipality of Jasper for their generous in-kind donations that allow us to use these spaces and offering qualified instructors during the Jasper Pride &amp; Ski Festival. This is not a private facility booking. The pool is still open to public lane swimmers and hot tub users at this time. The change rooms are also used by gym patrons.&nbsp; Your registration helps Jasper Pride Festival Society continue creating safe, inclusive spaces for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to heal.&nbsp;
