LXCL:Knights of Columbus Council 17725 fosters community through family-friendly events, charitable initiatives, and fraternal support for our members, promoting fellowship and service rooted in Catholic values. Examples of our support for the parish include organizing the Corpus Christi procession, Coats for Kids, Family dances, parish barbeques, First-Aid, Ushers, soccer games, and the Winter Carnival.

The St. Clement’s Knights of Columbus are organizing a Harvest Dance on Saturday, October 19th from 7-10 PM at St-François-d’Assise (20 Fairmont, Ottawa). This family-friendly ceilidh dance will feature Alexis MacIsaac on fiddle, Calum MacKenzie on piano, and Maureen O’Leary calling the dances in English.  No experience necessary. A cash/card bar and snacks will be available.

This course will provide participants with a certification on First Aid and CPR that can be used on resumes, as well as proper training on how to use our newly installed AED. The regular cost for training like this is about $45/person, but thanks to a generous contribution from our Parish, we are able to offer the course at $25/person. Snacks and refreshments will be included for all participants. This training will be held in the basement of Saint Theresa’s Church (95 Somerset St. W). Please note that instruction will be in English only for this event, although the instructor is able to answer questions in French. First Aid/AED/CPR Certification

Join us for the second tour of historic parishes organized by Knights of Columbus Council #17725. We will explore two Irish parishes, St. Stephen, Old Chelsea, and St. Camillus, Farrellton, both in Quebec, on August 17th, the Feast of Our Lady of Knock. We will meet at St. Clement, Ottawa at 10:30 and make our way to St. Stephen. Lunch will be provided, included in the ticket cost. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please send an email if you require accommodations. There will be a kitchen party at St. Camillus after the guided tour, so bring your musical instruments. This will end at 5 PM at the latest, although people will be free to leave earlier. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring supplementary sweets for the kitchen party. PLEASE NOTECouncil 17725 uses a platform called Zeffy to accept payments and donations. Zeffy is 100% free for us to use, charging no processing fees unlike other platforms. Mark your calendars for the Dominion Day Dance!  June 28th from 7:00-9:30 PM, St. Clement Council 17725 of the Knights of Columbus is organizing a family-friendly ceilidh dance at Knox’s Geneva Hall, 120 Lisgar Street, Ottawa.  Brian Armstrong will call the dances with Xavier, Savannah, and Aliyah Leahy playing fiddles, piano, and guitar.  $20 for adult tickets, $10 for 13–17-year-olds, $5 for 12 and under. Cash/card bar.

Dominion Day Dance 2024

You're invited! The Knights of Columbus, Council 17725 will be hosting our first annual Parish Trunk Sale on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Artisans and Parishioners alike are invited to register to reserve a space in the parking lot of the Saint Anne Medical Centre to sell their wares. The fee for registration is $20, or $10 for youth/children, with a suggested donation of 20% of gross sales. The monies raised from this event will be used by the Knights of Columbus to fund parish activities.
