Kootenay Konnects transforms the Kemball Centre into one big room for the whole town. Facilitated speed connections run all weekend &mdash; romantic, platonic, professional &mdash; paired with a DJ stage spinning house, funk and disco, the Angry Hen beer garden, and a colour-coded wristband system that does the awkward part for you. Pick your colour at the door. When you hear the bell, take three steps and say hi to whoever is closest. Come find your soul mate, your co-founder, or your new favourite neighbour &mdash; then dance about it.
