Lesser Slave Watershed Council

The Lesser Slave Watershed Council is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of the Lesser Slave Lake watershed through community engagement, education, and sustainable practices, ensuring a thriving ecosystem for future generations.

Join the Lesser Slave Watershed Council and the Alberta Native Bee Council for an unBEElievable night! Come build your own bumble bee box and learn about Alberta&rsquo;s native bumble bees, their habitat needs, and the importance of conservation. Either join us on Wednesday August 5th in Widewater at the Community Complex or on Thursday, August 6th in High Prairie at the Agriplex! Registration is only $10 and includes all the materials for your bee box as well as snacks and refreshments! Participant should bring their own cordless drills if they have one, as well as work gloves and safety glasses. Special thanks to our partners the MD of Lesser Slave River and Big Lakes County!
