Join NatureCK on September 26 for an unforgettable evening at the Links of Kent Golf Club! The evening begins at 5:30 PM with cocktails, a nature-themed silent auction, and plenty of time to browse our NatureCK merchandise or purchase your 2027 membership. Be sure to keep an eye out for exciting door prize draws throughout the evening! At 6:30 PM, we&#39;ll gather for a delicious buffet dinner and enjoy the company of friends, both familiar and new. Following dinner, the live auction begins. Get your paddle ready to bid on a wonderful selection of items, including photographs and books from the collection of the late Herman Giethoorn, one of NatureCK&#39;s founding members. During the evening, we will also present our annual Friend of Nature Award to a very deserving individual whose dedication has made a lasting difference. The highlight of the evening will be our special guest speaker, Shaun Antle. Shaun is an internationally award-winning professional photographer, conservation storyteller, and speaker whose visually immersive presentations inspire audiences while celebrating the beauty and importance of the natural world. His presentation, Arctic Frontiers: Life at the Edge of a Changing World, shares Shaun&#39;s remarkable journey of finding healing through the camera lens. Blending striking imagery, personal vulnerability, conservation, and the awe of the Arctic wilderness, his story explores what it means to dream big, persevere through life&#39;s challenges, and reconnect with what truly matters. Whether you&#39;re a longtime NatureCK member or joining us for the first time, this promises to be an inspiring evening filled with great food, wonderful company, exciting auctions, and an unforgettable presentation. Join NatureCK for a special Doors Open Ontario walk through Sycamore Woods, a beautiful natural area with a story to tell.Take a guided walk through the woods and discover the trees, plants, wildlife and natural features that make this area special. Along the way, NatureCK volunteers will share some of the natural history and hidden treasures of Sycamore Woods.This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, step into the woods and see a little more of the natural world around us. Saturday, October 3, 2026 Two walks available: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.Registration is required and space is limited.
