Okanagan 4 Ukraine Foundation

The Okanagan 4 Ukraine Foundation supports Ukrainian communities by providing humanitarian aid, fostering cultural connections, and raising awareness about the ongoing crisis. Their mission is to unite and empower through community-driven initiatives.

Ukrainians across generations are invited to participate in a community mosaic project. Whether your family came to Canada in the first waves of Ukrainian immigration or generations to follow, your journey is part of the Ukrainian story in Canada. Guided by professional mosaic artist Theodora Harasymiw, you will create your own mosaic bird. No artistic experience is needed. Come as you are, share as much or as little of your story as you wish, and create something that represents what home means to you in a safe and fun environment. Your individual bird will become part of a permanent public artwork. Please complete this form to confirm your participation and help us prepare materials. *Register early, as space is limited! This project is funded (in part) by the Shevchenko Foundation Temerty Community Development Fund. Borscht with Bun - A Community Gathering on the Church in Ukraine

Excitement is in the air! Join us, and Edmonton's famous Dnipro Choir for an afternoon of song, solemnity, and celebration. For over 70 years this 44 voice choir has expressed the heart of Ukraine through sacred, folk, and choral music (in Ukrainian and English). This cultural experience also features Kelowna's own Dolyna Dancers! The Choir and the Dancers will be in beautiful costumes, crafted by Ukrainian artisans, ensuring a vibrant visual and sound display! Proceeds support trauma recovery and mental wellness programs for those affected by war, in Ukraine and among displaced communities in the Okanagan, under the direction of Okanagan 4 Ukraine. Stay after the concert to enjoy light refreshments and meet the performers.
