Live Taping: Chapter 9 of James Joyce&#39;s&nbsp;Finnegans WakeJoin &quot;Toronto&#39;s enterprising One Little Goat Theatre Company&quot; (New York Times) for a rare live reading of Chapter 9 from James Joyce&#39;s divine and delirious comedy, Finnegans Wake, featuring Irish Canadian actor Richard Harte, directed by Adam Seelig. Chapter 9 &mdash; also known as Book II, Chapter 1 &mdash; is framed as a pantomime, &quot;The Mime of Mick, Nick and the Maggies,&quot; making the Winchester Street Theatre the perfect setting for this live taping. With Chapter 9, One Little Goat passes the halfway mark in its cinematic journey through all 17 chapters of Joyce&#39;s Finnegans Wake, filmed live in Toronto. This event is being filmed for One Little Goat&#39;s ongoing series of films and podcasts of Joyce&#39;s Finnegans Wake, screened in Toronto, New York, Dublin, and Tokyo, and available at <a data-fr-linked="true" fr-original-style="" href="//onelittlegoat.org/finneganswake" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">onelittlegoat.org/finneganswake</a>. &quot;Harte has found a way to crack the private code and maintain the original voltage&hellip; of one of the most funny and challenging novels of the 20th century, Joyce&#39;s Finnegans Wake, in a first-of-its-kind filmed reading series.&quot; &mdash;Cahir O&#39;Doherty, The Irish Voice Free admission &mdash; suggested donation $20.
