Their music blends gospel, country, soul, blues, and anything else they can get their hands on, creating an open, genre-blending musical experience.Originally from Sicily, Italy, Averi began making music on TikTok during the pandemic, collaborating with Italian artists and building connections online.&nbsp; After relocating to Halifax, Nova Scotia, they are now focused on establishing their own neo-soul-influenced sound and growing within the local music scene. This marks Averi&rsquo;s first festival performance. BIO: Good Dear Good A vision of unison and love arrives on stage with intoxicating, searing vocal harmonies and relentlessly catchy pop-rock melodies. From the remote shores of North-Eastern Cape Breton, music became a means of expression for Tim Hatcher. After meeting his partner Brandon MacDonald, the pair dropped out of university and moved to Dartmouth to pursue a career in music. After graduating from the NSCC Music Arts program, Tim formed Good Dear Good with Brandon and his classmates in the fall of 2018. Since the band&#39;s inception, Good Dear Good has quickly become an East Coast favourite, performing at festivals such as Sommo, NXNE, Halifax and PEI Pride, East Coast Music Awards, and Nova Scotia Music week, as well as opening for heavy hitters like Broken Social Scene, Jamie Fine, Classified, R&ecirc;ve, and Aysanabee.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lyrics are delivered with an endearingly infectious positivity on stage, but with deeper reading, a sense of pensive gloom permeates the words. Music Stage l OutFest

Join us at OutFest! Sponsored by Chester Playhouse, Page1 Theatre, in partnership with St.Margarets Bay Pride, and Lunenburg Pride, are launching our first Bus Trip at OutFest. This means that folks living along the South Shore will be able to join us for OutFest.&nbsp; Tickets will include admission to our Main Stage show, F*cking Trans Women, and travel. There will then be additional time for folks to either attend additional shows, check out the Makers Market, and or explore the city before returning.&nbsp; There will be TWO pickup locations, one in Lunenburg, and a second in Tantallon. After meeting in the pandemic, the pair have made music and travelled the world for the last four years. They just finished their European and USA tour. They just released a record called 'Hard Feelings, Soft Promises' and have recently been named CBC's 2SLGBTQ+ Canadian Artists To Watch. Art Ross (they/them) and Aaron Green (he/him) come from disparate backgrounds and musical forms, meeting in the middle to comprise a band that’s tender and fierce, exuberant and gentle. Green—a veteran of the Halifax rock scene, the guitar anchor of Floodland and Hello Delaware—and Ross—a trans songwriter with an acoustic guitar—started writing songs together over text, by accident. Pillow Fite emerged publicly at the start of 2021 with its non-binary gender-subverting aesthetics already in place and a languid lead single in “Playing the Fool.” Freya Milliken is a musician, songwriter, and performer based in the Annapolis Valley and have been working in music full-time for the last two years.  In May 2023, she received my Bachelor of Music degree at Acadia University and released my debut EP, “Wholeheartedly,” the following November. Freya has played at many music festivals across the East Coast, including Paddlefest, Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and Deep Roots Music Festival, among others.  Between sets, we will also announce the Festival Awards! Join us for Unwrapped, an evening of live music provided in partnership by the Queer Halifax Ensemble, and community celebration. Featuring local Queer musicians, the concert will include some traditional music while also highlighting the diversity of our community. From solos, duets, and the entire cast, there will be a variety of performances throughout the evening.  The event will also include a FREE pot-luck-style lunch the day of. Both our concert and potluck are a great way to gather as a community, connect with new friends, and celebrate the upcoming holidays.  Last year our event almost sold out so we encourage folks to grab their tickets in advance!
