CBC Food Bank Day is an annual fundraising initiative led by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to raise awareness and support for food banks across Canada.It encourages Canadians to tune in to their local CBC Radio station, learn about food insecurity in their communities, and make donations to help food banks provide food and essential support to people who need it. This CBC Food Bank Day, help make a difference close to home. Your financial support helps People for a Healthy Community keep food on the shelves, maintain essential food programs and provide reliable support to Gabriola neighbours facing food insecurity. All funds raised throughout the day will go directly towards supporting our Food Programs.

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit PHC&rsquo;s Garden Education Programs, helping fund a gleaning program and the tools needed to harvest and share fresh, locally grown food with our community. This event is for ages 16+ A fun and social night of creating art to raise funds and awareness for our programming.
