Rideau Community Health Services provides accessible, high-quality health care to enhance the well-being of individuals and families in the community, focusing on prevention, education, and support for healthier lives.

Join us for Bridges Out of Poverty, an engaging and thought-provoking learning experience that explores the realities of poverty and the ways economic circumstances can shape people&rsquo;s lives, choices, opportunities, and interactions with services and systems. Using the&nbsp;Bridges Out of Poverty framework, this session will help participants build a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families living with limited resources. Participants will explore the impact of economic class, examine barriers that can make it difficult to move toward greater stability, and consider practical approaches for building stronger relationships and more effective supports within our communities. The session is designed for a broad audience, including healthcare providers, community and social service organizations, educators, government and municipal partners, and members of the community. Whether you work directly with people experiencing poverty or simply want to better understand the issue, this session offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, and strengthen our collective capacity to support healthier, more inclusive communities. Registration is required. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants.
