Sampradaya Dance Creations promotes South Asian classical and contemporary dance, fostering artistic growth and cultural exchange. They support emerging artists through performances and educational initiatives, celebrating diverse dance traditions.

Vidhya Subramanian, our Kalagan Series 2026 artist, is an eminent Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, and teacher, celebrated for her sensitive choreography and deeply expressive performances. A highly sought-after artist for both stage and studio, Vidhya has captivated audiences at prestigious venues ranging from the World Music Institute in New York to Th&eacute;&acirc;tre du Soleil in Paris, as well as the revered sabhas of Chennai. Her work is often described as a harmonious offering of mind, body, and soul. Among numerous honors, she has been awarded the &lsquo;Nrithya Choodamani&rsquo; by Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai. Vidhya holds an MA in Theatre Arts and, when time permits, explores acting alongside her dance practice.

This edition of Horizon features performances by Roweena James (Kuchipudi) and Vrinda Kandanchatha (Mohiniyattam) on March 28, 2026.
