We match youth with a mentor who provides support but also shares knowledge around their personal and career journey and helps them to work on their short and long term S.M.A.R.T goals.Basic information youth & parents should be aware of:- Youth will be screened to determine an appropriate mentor pairing.- Youth will need to engage with their mentor at least 2-4 hours a month.- Youth will connect with their mentor primarily via Zoom - (by phone only if both parties (parents if needed) give consent.- Youth will only connect with their mentor in person only if both parties (parents if needed) give consent.- Youth will be given a SFL S.M.A.R.T Goal Setting Book that they can create and track goals progress in.- Youth will access to special guest speakers / panel session workshops that they will be asked to attend via zoom.- Youth will have the opportunity to receive prizes for participation, regular attendance, and their goal setting progress. Please fill out the survey to the best of your ability. Once complete and sent, a SFL rep will reach out to continue the registration process and provide more information and answer questions.
