Celebrate the kick-off of Springtide Music Festival&#39;s seventh annual event with an intimate night of live performance featuring Dan Mangan, a 2x JUNO Award-winning and 3x Polaris Music Prize-nominated musician and songwriter.&nbsp; The evening will be supported by The Young Novelists who are currently nominated for a JUNO for their album &ldquo;These Dark Canyons&rdquo; in the Contemporary Roots Album of the Year category, and local emerging artist Hollowsage and The Three Mile Islanders.

Last fall,&nbsp;Order of Canada member and Juno Award-winning musical icon Natalie MacMaster published her first book,&nbsp;I Have a Love Story (MacIntyre Purcell Publishing), which became a national bestseller. From family, friends and food to unbelievable stories of her musical collaborators, Natalie&rsquo;s unique book is an inspiring look back at her life and a career spanning three decades. To help unpack the amazing story behind I Have a Love Story and uncover what truly makes Natalie such a unique national treasure, we&rsquo;ve invited Canada&rsquo;s pop culture icon/expert and MuchMusic veteran, Erica Ehm, to be the host of a very special event at the Uxbridge Music Hall. Don&#39;t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two Canadian icons chat, in story and song, about Natalie&#39;s career and musical adventures. Join us for the Springtide Author&#39;s Stage co-presented by The Book Drunkard featuring Natalie MacMaster in conversation with Erica Ehm at Uxbridge Music Hall, on Friday, June 12th at 6:30pm. Tickets are $65 + HST and Include a signed edition of I Have a Love Storyand all-access to festival venues on Friday. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
