The Inner Activist

The Inner Activist empowers social change leaders through courses and retreats, fostering compassionate leadership and transformative justice. We cultivate skills for navigating emotions, conflict, and diversity to promote equity and social justice.

This is an in-person and live-streamed public panel discussion at the SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, bringing together members of the social justice community to explore how principles of Transformative Justice can be integrated into our movements, organizations and communities. The session will create space for shared learning, dialogue, and reflection on accountability, healing, and solidarity across organizations and communities. As an introduction to Transformative Justice, this offering will support social change leaders to embed these values into their work. Conscious Use of Power, a powerful 2-day journey offered by The Inner Activist (a MakeWay project), provides vital tools to navigate the complexities of relational conflicts, understand the roots of polarization, and become more aware of power dynamics. This is your opportunity to deepen your understanding and step into a more conscious and impactful way of engaging with the world around you. NOTE: This is a two-day event running Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM daily.&nbsp;
