Join a compassionate, action-driven community creating real change 🤝 As a member, you'll play an active role in tackling the root causes of homelessness through hands-on volunteering, advocacy, fundraising, and outreach. Your membership fees cover the cost of hosting the various meetings including the Burnaby Task Force on Homelessness, the collaborative planning table for Burnaby. The fees also contribute to supporting the people in Burnaby experiencing homelessness. With the rising cost of living bringing additional challenges for providing services to our most vulnerable population, there is always more to do as we know from the number of guest visits to our Outreach Resource Centre and looking around our neighbourhoods. We are immensely grateful for the support towards the issue of homelessness amongst the various levels of government, but more work is needed in order to create and maintain affordable housing for all of our vulnerable neighbours in Burnaby.
