On the third Sunday of August each year, locals and visitors gather in the Pemberton Meadows for a pedal-powered celebration of local farming, food, and community. Cyclists are invited to cruise the 40-kilometre round-trip route along Pemberton Meadows Road, stopping at farms to enjoy local produce, artisans, live music and connecting with each other.Created in the spirit of sustainability, slow food, and fun, this event celebrates the land and the people who grow on it. Ride as much or as little as you&#39;d like. <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.tourismpembertonbc.com/slow-food-cycle-sunday" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Tourism Pemberton</a> is excited to be celebrating the 21st anniversary of Slow Food Cycle Sunday in 2026! A donation option is available as one of the three choices of ticket purchases: General Admission, Family Rare, or Add a donation. All additional donations will be directed to the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://pembertonhealthcarefoundation.org/about/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Pemberton and District Healthcare Foundation</a>. The ticket purchaser is responsible for ensuring that each guest has reviewed, understood, and acknowledged the Event Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation in the event. When: August 16th Where:&nbsp;Pemberton Meadows &ndash; registration and check-in will be located at the former high school site on Pemberton Meadows Road, just past Collins Road. Route:&nbsp;Each year, the route begins just northwest of the Village of Pemberton and extends into the Pemberton Meadows, covering approximately 20 km each way.This is a self-paced event. While the event runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, participants can choose how long or short to make their day. Depending on your pace, expect it to take at least one hour to ride from the Village of Pemberton to the final vendor location. Of course, you do not need to complete the entire route and are welcome to make as many stops as you like along the way. What to Bring:<ul data-spread="false" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A bike helmet (required)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Water and snacks to stay hydrated and fuelled throughout the day</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Cash or a payment card for purchases</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Sunscreen and sunglasses</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Comfortable cycling clothing</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Bike panniers, baskets, or a bike trailer to carry any purchases made along the route</li></ul>Please Note<ul data-spread="false" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Dogs are not permitted at the event. The large crowds and farm environments can be stressful for both livestock and pets. August temperatures can also be very hot, and pavement temperatures may be unsafe for animals.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">While many farms and vendors offer food and beverages, availability is not guaranteed at every stop. Please come prepared with your own water and snacks.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Slow Food Cycle Sunday is known for its exceptional local food experiences. Arriving earlier in the day will give you the best opportunity to enjoy the delicious offerings available along the route.</li></ul>
