What to Expect With Your MembershipYour membership includes your annual membership fee and a personal set of WEOWS-branded tasting glasses. Members are required to bring their tasting glasses to each event unless otherwise specified.This membership is valid until our fiscal year end (March 31).A 90-day grace period is permitted before a membership is considered fully lapsed; however, member benefits (including access to member pricing and presale tickets) are not available during this time unless your membership has been renewed.As a member, you will be added to our mailing list to receive all event invitations, updates, and society news.We typically host one event per month, most often held on Monday evenings at 7 PM (doors open at 6 PM), with occasional exceptions. June is usually our final event before a summer break, with events resuming in September.Each month, you will receive an invitation to purchase tickets for upcoming events. Attendance is optional—you may choose which events you’d like to attend.Most events feature six courses paired with six wines, along with a reception pour to start the evening. While full menus are not shared in advance, you will be able to select your meal preference at checkout: standard, vegetarian, or pescatarian.Please note: pescatarian selections may not always include fish, but when a fish course is offered, it will be provided in place of a vegetarian option.Some events may open to non-members if space permits; however, members receive priority access and preferred pricing.Please note that membership structure, benefits, and event details may evolve over time as we continue to grow and improve the experience for our members.We look forward to welcoming you to the Windsor Essex Ontario Wine Society!Waiver and IndemnityBy purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms:Cancellation PolicyAll event ticket purchases are final. The Ontario Wine Society (OWS) does not offer refunds or exchanges. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest; this is the responsibility of the ticket holder.Photography and Media ConsentOWS may capture photos and/or video during events for use on social media, online platforms, and promotional materials. By attending, you consent to the use of your image and that of your guest(s), if applicable.Liability WaiverI, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and any guest(s) for whom I accept full responsibility, hereby release and indemnify the Ontario Wine Society (OWS), its executive, members, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in OWS events or activities.I confirm that I, and any guest(s) I bring, are 19 years of age or older.
