No young person should feel trapped on the streets and have given up on their future before they are 30. This year all donations will be eligible for the Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink for a possible match of up to 50%! 

As always, the bulk of our funds will go to engaging youth in MyPlan for two years of goal-setting and reflection toward achieving stability and independence. This includes participant incentives and costs related to delivering MyPlan. This year we are dedicating some funds to support our new Street Outreach program to purchase supplies like fruit and healthy snacks, water, hot chocolate, hygiene supplies, gloves, socks, and underwear.  In one week, we can hand out 50 or more packs.  Since June 2021, we have had more than 1100 interactions. It may take a number of conversations before a young person is ready to take charge of their life. We have begun to see the results of our efforts as more young people have started on their journey with The Doorway.
