Welcome to the York University Allan I Carswell Astronomical Observatory!We are running regular in person shows every Wednesday. These sessions will go ahead regardless of weather conditions.  Guests will be shown into the 1-m as well as our 60-cm dooms from the inside. However, we will not be able to open the dooms under rain and/or overcast conditions. The location is 'York University Petrie Science and Engineering' building and is given in the event. To enter the observatory go to the Petrie Science and Engineering building and go up to the 3rd floor. You will then just follow the signs for the 'Observatory' and your tour guide will meet you at the main door. Please keep in mind only one ticket booking per person is currently allowed. Our regular online public viewing will continue every Monday evening from 9-10pm ET, with audio from York Universe on astronomy.fm and broadcasting at:  https://www.youtube.com/user/YorkUObservatory/liveOn the final Friday of every month, we will be broadcasting live imaging on YouTube from 7:30pm ET on our TeleTube broadcast at: https://www.youtube.com/user/YorkUObservatory/liveFor weather updates and all information see our website at https://observatory.info.yorku.ca/ You can also email us at observe@yorku.ca!
