A family event to celebrate all the great Dad's out there!!  Beautiful MacPherson's Lake is stocked just before the derby with 1,000 small speckled trout and up to 300 trout from 1.5 to 5 pounds.  Fraser Mills Fish Hatchery does an amazing job of raising delicious trout for your catching and dining pleasure!!   Fishing starts at 8:00 am with weigh in at 1:30.  We tag 10 trout that determine the winner of the tagged fish category. With close to 300 entrants from all ages and experience it is a fun filled day on the water or from the beautiful and accessible shores. The Royal Canadian Legion quenches your appetites with amazing hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, cold and hot drinks and other snacks so skip making a lunch and come out and support these hard working volunteers who raise money for the legion and all the great work they do. For the low price of $25 per online adult ticket ($20 cash at the door) you get the following in addition to an amazing day fishing:- chance to win the $1,000 entry prize per adult ticket.
