The last Amapiano & house music night was so successful we have decided to make it an entire series! Prepare yourself for another unparalleled musical journey featuring a lineup of 2 masterful DJs, each bringing their distinct sound to the forefront, ensuring the dance floor remains electrifying from start to finish. Date: Saturday May 11 Time: 10:30pm-3am Location: La Poubelle Magnifique 1221 CrescentEmbark on a sonic adventure with Amapiano, a genre that fuses deep house, jazz, and lounge music with the vibrant sounds of African house. Coupled with the beats of the global House Music, this evening promises a unique blend of grooves that will captivate your senses and hopefully move your feet. Featuring DJs:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Koppi:  Studying to become astro-engineer and from Botswana, Koppi is quickly making a name for himself in the Montreal scene.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Magbeta: A Congolese DJ, guitarist and all around creative. Magbeta has another album dropping early Summer (album release to be hosted at La Poubelle Magnifique May 9) and has recently forayed into jewelry making.</li></ul>This event is a must-attend for both aficionados and those new to the genres of Amapiano and House. Anticipate a night filled with infectious rhythms, boundless energy, and a gathering of like-minded individuals who share a passion for groundbreaking music. Tickets: There are early bird entries are 25$ which includes an open bar, juice bar access to the rooftop terrance and of course -- the dance floor.Then we move to 30$ & 35$Pls note that we are not for profit -- sales are shared amongst the staff and allow us to give platform and space to many BIPOC artists to create and make $ to support themselves as capitalism crushes us all -- the money raised allows us to pay our rent, staff, other operating costs, materials and of course -- our DJs --- oh and we are also saving up for new CDJs... Dress code: Come as you are, ready to immerse yourself in the music and let loose on the 2 dance floors.
