In Caroline Monnet’s work, traditional Anishinaabe sacred geometry transforms and softens the industrial into something more personal, building a new point of view, shaping the way we understand the world and dictating the way we live, play and learn.  The fluidity of the circle intentionally builds on knowledge rooted in the past. This can be seen in the sense of these recent photographic works, which represent a formal arrangement and reorganization of foam "beads" into cubic edges. Manipulating the material for the camera leads to an infinity of possible formations and configurations.
