The Otterburn Boating Club invites you to the 3rd edition of the Chambly-Otterburn on the water trip ! Every member of the boating club and all residents of the MRC Vallée-du-Richelieu are invited to come paddle with us ! PLACES ARE LIMITED ! It will be possible to paddle in a kayak for one, a kayak for two, a stand-up paddle (SUP) on in a dragon-boat (10 or 20 places boats). The event will start in the Bassin de Chambly at 9 AM and will be over at around noon in Otterburn Park.  IMPORTANT : The club will be organizing the whole event, but the club does not provide a transport back to Chambly at the end of the event. You will therefore have to plan your own transport back to the starting point once you get to Otterburn Park. Minors/Kids : Any person below 18 years old will have to be accompanied by an adult. Also, kids below 10 years old will have to be in a boat with an adult. More info will be transmitted to people who have registered for the event !

Tous les membres du club de canotage ainsi que les résidents de la MRC Vallée-du-Richelieu sont les bienvenus à se joindre à cet événement ! LES PLACES SONT LIMITÉES (à moins que vous ayez votre propre embarcation!) Il sera possible de réaliser la descente en kayak simple, en kayak double, en SUP ou en bateau-dragon. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser votre propre embarcation. Le grand départ se fera du Bassin de Chambly (12km), mais vous pourrez aussi faire votre départ à partir de Saint-Basile et Saint-Mathias si vous préférez réduire la distance à parcourir. L'arrivée se fera directement au club de canotage (85 rue Oxford, Otterburn Park). Cet événement agit comme levée de fonds pour le club de canotage afin de lui permettre d'offrir un meilleur service à ses membres et à la population principalement en termes d'équipement et d'embarcations ! IMPORTANT : Il n'y aura pas de navette/autobus offrant un transport vers les points de départ. Cependant, nous tenterons d'accomoder les participants ayant besoin d'un raccompagnement après l'événement. VFI OBLIGATOIRE : Le port du VFI est obligatoire durant toute la descente.
