On Common Grounds offers diagnosis-specific, virtual support groups led by Certified Child Life Specialists. Through peer-to-peer conversations, creative expression, and themed workshops, youth build confidence, community, and coping skills in a safe, welcoming environment. These groups act as an essential first step into the larger Upopolis platform, helping youth feel less alone and more connected to others who truly understand their journey.With many young people accessing outpatient care rather than hospitalization, and with a growing gap in support services in rural and underserved regions, programs like On Common Grounds are more critical than ever. Qualitative feedback shows that 85% of participants report improved emotional well-being after taking part.
