Your ticket grants you access to weekly training sessions for 8 weeks, followed by a weekend excursion to Vancouver island.

Learn to Camp, powered by Scouts Canada, is a short-term outdoors skill-building program designed for youth 8 to 18, to teach them the basic skills they need to be safe and enjoy their camping/outdoor experience while also focusing on the values of Scouting. Participants will engage in weekly camping skill sessions over 8 weeks, from September to October 2024 at Warner Loat Park, Burnaby BC. This format provides a unique opportunity to acquire camping skills in real-time, allowing participants to immerse themselves in a live campsite environment for practical, hands-on experience. The program concludes with a camping excursion, on first weekend of November at Camp Barnard, Sooke, BC. This final event serves as a showcase of acquired skills, contributing to the fostering of mental and physical health, environmental awareness, and personal growth.Disclaimer : The program day/date availability may change based on enrolment. If you are 18 at the time of programming, you will need to provide a clean police record check in order to participate.
