In a world where we often feel powerless, this gathering is a space to hold one another as we reflect on, remember, and celebrate the tireless work of those who have come before us.  Hosted by Artistic Director Derek Chan, this curated event offers local artists a platform for expression through music, poetry, and storytelling. They will each contribute to a broader and increasingly necessary conversation on freedom, democracy, and the challenge of our shared human experience. Through the connective power of performance, this event intends to build resource and resilience, orienting us towards the actions that make collective liberation possible. This event will be hosted at Notional Space, which offers itself as a home for creatives that are bringing depth and vibrancy to our local community.  This is more than just a gathering; it’s a step towards understanding and solidarity, where we can begin to imagine and work towards a future where freedom and democracy for all peoples is fully realized.
