Exploring the dreams of Queer and Transgender people through the eras YEG BALLROOM proudly presents the Dream Era Kiki Ball— a kaleidoscope of house ballroom memories and dreams where past, present and future collide. Step into a space and be transported to a colour-coded Era of ballroom (as developed by Derek Prada-Ebony), paying homage to the pioneers and blueprints who trail-blazed the ways both forward and back in retrospect. The Dream Era Kiki Ball is about honouring dreams past, exploring dreams present, and manifesting dreams that have yet to be realized. In 2024, YEG Ballroom presented the Spring Dream Mini Kiki Ball, inaugurating the kiki ballroom scene in Edmonton— we are proud to host Edmonton's first Kiki Ball, with support from Canadian ballroom scene elders.
