Join us on Saturday, December 6th for Dunnville&rsquo;s most magical holiday tradition&mdash;the annual Christmas Parade and Tree of Hope Light Up! This year&rsquo;s theme is Santa&rsquo;s Workshop &amp; Toyland&mdash;a celebration of holiday wonder, creativity, and imagination. Floats, costumes, and music will bring the magic of toys, elves, and Santa&rsquo;s workshop to life as the parade makes its way through town. Following the parade, the community will gather at Central Park for the Dunnville Hospital &amp; Healthcare Foundation Tree of Hope Light Up, a heartwarming tradition that symbolizes joy, unity, and the start of the festive season. By registering, you&rsquo;ll help bring Santa&rsquo;s Workshop &amp; Toyland to life, delighting families and spreading holiday cheer throughout Dunnville.

This year&rsquo;s theme, &ldquo;Santa&rsquo;s Workshop &amp; Toyland,&rdquo; is sure to spark creativity, imagination, and festive fun&mdash;we can&rsquo;t wait to see how you bring the magic of toys, elves, and Santa&rsquo;s workshop to life on your float. Here are some festive float ideas to help you shine in this year&rsquo;s parade.<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="399" data-start="222" fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Elves at Work: Decorate your float like Santa&rsquo;s workshop with toy-making stations, giant candy canes, and people dressed as elves hammering, painting, or wrapping gifts.</li><li data-end="529" data-start="400" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Toy Assembly Line: Have &ldquo;elves&rdquo; passing toy boxes along or using oversized tools (cardboard hammers, saws, paintbrushes).</li><li data-end="667" data-start="530" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Workshop Details: Add a chimney, glowing &ldquo;North Pole&rdquo; signs, a sleigh under construction, or toy shelves stacked high with gifts.</li><li data-end="667" data-start="530" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Classic Toy Parade: Feature oversized versions of classic toys&mdash;like a giant teddy bear, building blocks, rocking horse, dolls, or jack-in-the-box.</li><li data-end="996" data-start="856" fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Life-Size Board Games: Decorate the float like Candyland, Monopoly, or other family games with people dressed as the playing pieces.</li><li data-end="1107" data-start="997" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Nutcracker &amp; Dolls: Include dancers or people dressed as toy soldiers, ballerinas, or storybook dolls.</li></ul> *Please remember there should be NO Santa on any float except for the last one of Santa&#39;s sleigh hosting Mr. &amp; Mrs. Claus The Dunnville Christmas Committee, led by Tamara Lovegrove, Parade &amp; Christmas Events Coordinator, is working hard to make this year&rsquo;s event a joyful and unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike.
