Storage Berth

Made as of the 1st day of April, 2025BETWEEN: LONDON CANOE CLUB, London, Ontario, N6H 5C4 (hereinafter &ldquo;LCC&rdquo;)AND: London Canoe Club Member (hereinafter &ldquo;Storer&rdquo;) London Canoe Club has Club storage facilities located at 199-A Wonderland Road, London, Ontario. This will confirmour agreement with respect to the storage of a canoe / kayak (hereinafter &ldquo;Property&rdquo;) at the Club. 1 &ndash; GENERAL CONDITIONS AND ACCESSLCC will provide storage Berth to the Storer for the storage of Property. LCC will provide access to the Club&rsquo;s storage and washrooms, with the issuance of a Club key. The key is to be returned immediately upon termination of the Storage Agreement. Storer agrees not to copy the key for any reason. A deposit may be requested for this key with reimbursement upon its return. Storer agrees that they are a current member in good standing of the LCC and agrees at all times to conduct their activities at the Club in accordance with the LCC Policy and Procedures for the Club. Storer agrees to be responsible for the supply and installation of security measures such as a lock, onto the Property to prevent theft. Storer shall not assign this agreement without the prior written consent of the LCC. In the event Storer defaults in payment of fees, the LCC retains the option to send notice to the Storer indicating a seizure of the Property for sale at a Public Auction. Storer will have thirty days in which to settle the account. 2-TERMThis agreement shall continue in force until March 31, 2026 and be effective from the date first above written and shall be renewable for subsequent one-year periods, provided that membership is kept current and storage fees are fully paid in advance. Storer is responsible for obtaining the renewal contract. Either party shall have the right to terminate this agreement for any reason upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Either party shall have the right to terminate this agreement upon breach of any part of this agreement if such breach is not corrected within 10 days of receipt of written notice of such breach. 3- PAYMENTStorer will pay to LCC in advance, a fee of ($130/berth). Storer agrees that fees paid are not reimbursable. 4-INSURANCEStorers are responsible for insuring their Property with respect to fire, damage, or theft.
