Taking place on Monday, May 19, 2025 (Victoria Day), competitors will have the opportunity to compete in a double-elimination format in up to two brackets. This year&rsquo;s brackets include space for participants with limited experience in sumo, as well as those looking for a more competitive experience. We will also have open gender brackets and brackets specifically for women, non-binary and gender-diverse folks. Trans folks are welcome in all categories. We especially encourage underrepresented folks in North American sumo to sign up. This includes, but is not limited to, people who identify as women, non-binary, trans, queer, racialized and/or disabled. All spots are on a first come, first serve basis.
