Important InformationPLEASE READ CAREFULLY&nbsp;Meeting location:Your birthday party will take place at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park &amp; Zoo (1903 Forestry Farm Drive, Saskatoon). Your Saskatoon Zoo Society birthday party guide will be at the EAST doors of the AFFINITY LEARNING CENTRE (located right off the main parking lot near the Zoo Entrance) 15 minutes prior to your program. Look for the Birthday Party sign next to the red benches at the front of the Zoo Entrance. Parking:Parking is not included with Birthday Party bookings. They must say the child&rsquo;s name again upon return to pick up their child .&nbsp; Your Birthday at the Zoo Program&nbsp;Your birthday party program is booked for 1.5 hours. The party host will be ready for you at the Affinity Learning Centre (ALC) 15 minutes before your program.<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">In your 1.5 hours, you&#39;ll:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">be greeted and welcomed to the ALC by the Party Host and shown to your party room where everyone can leave their jackets, presents, etc.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">be brought to the animal classroom. There you&#39;ll have an approx. 35-45 minute program hosted by our SZS interpreter and get to meet and learn about several of our live, animal ambassadors.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">then, you&#39;ll go back to your private party room and have approximately 35-45 minutes for your own self-guided party program (games, opening gifts, eating cake, etc.).</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">at the end of your time, your party host will help you tidy up the room, then you can gather your things and either head home, or head into the zoo.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The birthday child will receive the Animal Plush you chose when registering. &nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Zoo Scavenger Hunt Activity booklets&nbsp;are designed to complement your birthday program and provide an activity while touring the outdoor zoo exhibits, but can also be done at home.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Where to pick up the Zoo Scavenger Hunt Activity booklets (IF ORDERED)&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The office will contact you to arrange a pick up location.</li></ul></li></ul>Important Things to note:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">At least two adults must stay for the party program.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The room is decorated with birthday decorations and personalized for your child. Please do not bring other decorations as there is not time to put up and take down decorations for each party, and you cannot hang anything on the wall.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">If you want a themed party we recommend having themed plates, cups and napkins.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Please avoid bringing anything that could leave small pieces behind, as this can pose a safety risk to our animals. Examples are: balloons, sequins, pinatas or confetti. Please contact us if you are unsure about an item.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">We can take requests to see a specific animal ambassador during your program, but will not make any guarantees. Our animal ambassadors are selected based on the amount of programming they are involved with each week, and their health and well-being at that time.</li></ul> Food Service<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You may provide your own food, snacks, birthday cake/cupcakes for the party, including cups and plates.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You are able to bring your own drinks (juice boxes, canned pop, etc.). No alcohol is allowed in the zoo or in the party room.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You are able to use our standard fridge (with freezer) for your cake/juice. Please ask your party host when you arrive.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">We provide a coffee maker with filters (you must bring your own fine-ground coffee, cream, sugar), as well as a juice/water pitcher (bring your own powdered drinks).</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Caf&eacute; is open from April to October. They have a selection of hot food and snacks (hotdogs, burgers, slushies, frozen treats, candy, etc.). If you plan on touring the Zoo BEFORE your party, please proceed to the Zoo Admissions window and enter the Zoo TOGETHER as a group. You must provide the first and last name of the BIRTHDAY CHILD.
