Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly. - Important: EACH TEAM MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 Male and 1 Female!! No payment is required at this stage. - Once your team has been confirmed by the UBC Seva team, we will send payment instructions, tournament waivers, and additional event details. - Your team&rsquo;s spot will only be officially secured after confirmation and payment submission. - Before you take a moment to read the rules of the event below - UBC Seva is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve others through compassion, humility, and selfless service. Through initiatives that support vulnerable communities, we strive to create meaningful change and remind us that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact on someone&rsquo;s life. Event Information and Rules General Information: Location: Panorama Ridge Secondary SchoolDate: March 28Time: 1:00 PM &ndash; 7:00 PM &bull; The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in an elimination bracket with the chance for re-entry into the R16 through the loser bracket playoff.&bull; Games will take place on two half courts simultaneously.&bull; Teams must be ready at their scheduled game time.&bull; Teams that are more than 5 minutes late may forfeit their game.&bull; Each team may have a maximum of 5 players on their roster.&nbsp;&bull; Players cannot switch teams during the tournament.&bull; All players must be between the ages of 17 and 21.&bull; Government or school-issued ID may be checked at check-in.&bull; Each team may have a maximum of one varsity basketball player. Varsity means playing for college/university/prep level basketball. Does not include high school team!&bull; Teams found to have more than one varsity player will be disqualified.
