Come support the amazing musicians of the 2026 Manitoba Senior Honour Band in this final concert led by Guest Conductor, Dr Erik Leung in this culmination of their Honour Band experience. This concert also features:&nbsp;🎶 a special guest performance by the U of M Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Jacquie Dawson.🌊 the world-premiere of Water Flows: IV. Spring by composers Kerey Harper &amp; Kenley Kristofferson (Funded by the Manitoba Arts Council, Winnipeg Foundation, and Winnipeg Arts Council). The Manitoba Senior Honour Band is an auditioned ensemble for Manitoba students currently in grades 9 - 12. Students in the band represent areas across Manitoba including the north, south, and western Manitoba. The Manitoba Band Association is a registered charity that supports and fosters band activity across Manitoba. We have implemented a pay-what-you-can ticket structure to make our events as accessible as possible. We depend on government and community support (grants, endowment funds, sponsorships donations, program &amp; ticket fees) to continue our operations and providing these opportunities for Manitobans. Our gratitude to Long &amp; McQuade Musical Instruments for sponsoring bursaries for students who face barriers. Our gratitude to St. John&#39;s Music for sponsoring t-shirts for all Senior Honour Band participants and volunteers. Thank YOU for supporting these Manitoba youth along their musical journey.
