Novella has been selected to represent Canada at the 2023 World Rowing U19 Championships in Paris, France this August. Her parents are out of this world proud of her, but they won't be attending the event. They are saving the money that it would cost for them to go, so that they can afford to pay for future opportunities for Novella, as well as her brother Ryder, who play soccer for the Junior Premier League.
