Come join us as we learn the beauty and skill behind one of Palestine's most beautiful cultural art forms: tatreez! Tatreez is similar to cross-stitching and uses special patterns to convey the history and culture of different places in Palestine.  Tatreez night will be taught by the talented Mervat Ghaboun! Mervat is a talented seamstress from Gaza who, since returning to Canada in December of 2023, has continued to work tirelessly to support her family back in Gaza. Proceeds from this event will go to the NGRF, so we can continue providing support to Palestinians in Niagara and their efforts to support their loved ones in Palestine whose lives have been upturned by the genocide.
