We'll bitch about work, capitalism, life, and celebrate our growth and successes. We might share some photos of our furbabies in between (well, I know I will!) For those that have never been to a Women, work, and whisky event, you're in for a treat as this is some people's "favourite Meetup group". Some folks have found new career paths through this group, and others have found life-long pals. For those that have already been these, you know the drill: come with your hearts open and ready to chat with a stranger. And maybe consider writing a little blurb in the Discussion part of the event, sharing what is is you like most about it? It will help newer members get a sense of the vibe :) This is a paid event as I'm renting the beautiful Terrace Nord of the Robin des Bois space at Parc Lafontaine. So, rain or shine, we get to be outside in the freshest air Montreal has to offer. Robin des Bois has a bar and food service; we can bring our own food, but cannot bring alcoholic beverages unfortunately. So this is essentially a private party for cheap on a Friday after work. Who DOESN'T want to come to that?! While the event IS outside, there are unfortunately no animals allowed (I know, I'm sorry!) This is also a safe space for women; and that of course includes trans women and non-binary folks with experience with womanhood.
