This house concert style concert will feature Andrea Superstein and her band (Dan Gaucher on drums, Carlie Howell on bass, and Elizabeth Shepherd on piano). For the evening, we'll convert the coworking space in The Two Twenty into a moody jazz venue. Bring your own refreshments (alcohol permitted)! We'll have snacks, but feel free to bring an appetizer to share if you like. Doors 7pm | Show 7:30pmOne set, no intermission Andrea Superstein: One of the most versatile voices in music today, Andrea Superstein was dubbed as "redefining jazz" by the Vancouver Province. Her debut performance at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival earned her a nomination for a Galaxie Rising Star award and she later shared a triple bill with Canadian female heavyweights Laila Biali and Brandi Disterheft. Her musical stylings exemplify powerful vocals, evoking the gentle and the strong, the light and the dark, often in the same song.
