<p><div><div><b>Thursday, October 8th, 7pm EST to 8pm EST</b></div><div><br></div><div>The Camperdown Program is an evidence-based treatment for people who stutter, developed by the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. It is a speech restructuring/fluency shaping program that includes prolonged-speech-type procedures. Speech restructuring is a style of treatment for which the best clinical trials exist. It is the use of a new speech pattern to reduce or eliminate stuttering while sounding as natural as possible.</div><div>This webinar will present a descriptive overview of the program.</div><div><br></div><div>Dr. Brenda Carey is the founder and director of the Stuttering Treatment Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Brenda completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, where her research concerned Telepractice delivery of the Camperdown Program. Brenda is a member of both the Lidcombe Program and the Camperdown Program Trainers Consortium and has trained over 1000 SLPs in both programs in Australia, Singapore, Israel, Canada and Japan. She is frequently invited to speak and has presented at International Conferences in Italy, the UK and Japan.</div></div><div><br></div><div><b>This one-hour webinar is intended for speech-language pathologists and </b>speech-language pathology students<b>.
