ForestART and the Jack Millikin Centre are offering a unique opportunity to watch and learn from Māori master carver Lyonel Grant right here at Ness Creek! Lyonel will be visiting from New Zealand to carve a pole that will stand as part of the memorial for Dylan Olson.
Whether you’re an amateur or professional carver or sculptor or simply wish to indulge in a fellow artist's process, this unique opportunity will inspire and entertain you!
We’re pleased to provide complimentary non-electrified tent camping with vehicle access (RV’s not recommended) at the workshop location (near the Octagon on the South Side of the Creek) for those of you who need it. This is a fully outdoor experience, so please come prepared with appropriate clothing, bug spray, and sunscreen!
