Tonight, all the residents are at a masquerade ball at Upper Fort Garry. Governor Colvile took advantage of this and has your guide and you to help investigate while the fort is deserted... Beware, you explore at your own risk! Listen to stories that unveil the dark past; discover unexplained phenomena; visit locations where disturbing and significant events have taken place and may possibly still be haunted.... **Please note, the ticketing platform Zeffy is having issues sending emails. We have heard that as a result you are not getting tickets. Your name will be on a list at the door as well**  This will be a 90 minute walking tour where your personal guide will tell ghost stories throughout the site. These stories are those encountered by workers and residents over the years. Stories are unsettling and include tales of murder, drinking, and suicide. We do not recommend those under 10 years of age attend. MAKE IT A NIGHT OUT! Come before your reserved tour time (we recommend 1-1.5 hours ahead, so if you book a 7:00 tour, come at 5:30pm) to enjoy a full TACO BAR created by Life a Little Sweeter Cafe. Reserve your seat with your tour. OR just come for the Tacos! **Please note, this tour is run by Friends of Lower Fort Garry, a non-profit organization created to support Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site** IMPORTANT INFORMATION:This is an outdoor event! PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY. It WILL be chilly outside in October.There will be 90 minutes of walking and standing - there will be stairs and minor hills on a gravel path.Flashlights are permitted to carry along, but we ask that you do not use them unless an emergency arises. There may be spirits and spooks around the site. No one will touch you, but we cannot guarantee you won't be startled! We will run rain, snow, or moonlight unless severe weather. Cancellations will occur via email and on our social media pages (@FriendsLFG).There will be no refunds - however, you can give your ticket to another person - please email us at least 48 hours in advance.
