INDOOR TENNIS SEASON IS NOW OVER

The UofT Tennis Club has booked tennis courts at <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/ypHP5psTEe1YfVQF7">Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club</a> for the 2023-2024 year. LOGISTICS: Practices happen weekly during numerous sessions during non-prime hours at Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club.  COST: Practices for the UofT Tennis Club will be a subsidized cost of $12 for each 2 hr session.  COST EXPLANATION: No Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club membership is required to play (saving of up to $500 per year) and no non-member daily membership is required (saving of $25 per day). The Club organizes group rates and subsidizes court rates in an effort to encourage student participation and newcomers to the sport. These are some of the cheapest rates in Toronto for indoor tennis for students.  CAPACITY: 12 players will share 3 courts or 16 players will share 4 courts, depending on the day. <div style="box-sizing:inherit;width:100%">DATES:  In 2023-2024, practices will be held on Fridays and Saturdays. </div> LIMITS: Members are allowed to sign up for one session per week. They are not allowed to sign-up for their friends. Only those signed up will be allowed to play.  PERKS: All participants will be eligible to pick up a GURU Energy Drink for every practice attended. We will facilitate pick-up dates for you to do so on-campus.  CLUB STORE: You can purchase tennis balls, grips, and t-shirts for delivery during practices via our <a href="https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/b3b18dcd-8d8a-4791-baa0-65f508206b86" target="_blank">Club Store</a>. Please note that delivery may not be available onsite at the practice, but we will try our best.  REGISTRATION: This is a non-refundable ticket for the time outlined. Please check your emails for any important announcements. You must fill out the waiver before attending Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club.  PARKING: Parking is free and plentiful.  TRANSIT: The recommended method of getting to Eglinton Flats is via TTC Line 2 to Jane Street followed by bus 35 or 935 to Eglinton and Jane.  The alternative method of getting to Eglinton Flats is via TTC Line 1 to Eglinton West Station followed by Bus 32 to Eglinton and Jane. RULES: - All participants must be <a href="https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/642fc751-4e25-4804-9605-9e9039896366">members</a> of the UofT Tennis Club. - Participants must bring their own tennis balls and racquets. - A waiver form from Eglinton Flats Winter Tennis Club must be signed after payment to be allowed to play at the Club. - Waiver form outlines more details regarding court rules. Participants must sign the form.- By signing up, you consent to Photography which may be taken by UTTC Execs and used for social media. - Non-marking shoes must be worn at all times.- No refunds will be provided- Please remove all garbage and tennis balls after every session! - Please clean up all tennis balls that are dead or trash after you are finished. - No food or drinks other than water is allowed on court. - Please do not cross into the field of play on other courts.  Failure to follow any of the above rules will be subject to review and disciplinary action taken by the UTTC Courts and Presidential teams.  PAYMENT NOTE: Payment will ask for a donation to Zeffy, the free platform we use for fee payments.
