44th Annual BC Interior Jazz Festival is pleased to present The Convertibles @ Metro Hub - 7:30pm on Thursday, April 13th. The Convertibles little BIG Band is a new sound in the Okanagan. Made up of ten of the most flexible and groovy instrumentalists in the Valley, some familar faces like local mainstays Craig Thomson, Bob Rogers, and introducing new transplants, our co-leaders and trumpeters Joe Auty and Nicholas Dyson. Bring your dancing shoes, this time The Convertibles have a high-energy set of Funk and Latin hits by Dizzy Gillespie, Maceo Parker, Michel Camilo, Tower of Power, Paquito D'Rivera, The Soul Rebels, and even a favourite from Chilliwack in store! The Convertibles is the first of three concerts for the 44th Annual BC Interior Jazz Festival on April 13-15, 2023. The BC Interior Jazz Festival is produced with the generous support of MusicFest Canada, Central Okanagan School District 23, Wentworth Music, Gorman Bros. Lumber, Yamaha Canada, Tapestry Music, Bastion Education Productions, Metro Hub, and Okanagan Youth Jazz Orchestra.
