Enrichment activities are a wolfdog's favourite as they get spoiled with treats and fun activities that celebrate their wolfy instincts and skills!  Our newly constructed visitor centre will be open during this event and a local food truck will be on site until 7pm. For the first time in the Sanctuary's history, we are inviting a few guests to join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sanctuary on July 24th from 6-6:30pm. In this exclusive tour, one of our staff members will guide you through a typical 'day in the life' at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary featuring tasks such as preparing meals and providing enrichment activities for the wolfdogs. You will also be taken to a staff-only area to give one of our resident wolfdogs a treat yourself!

The Goats of Yamnuska and their livestock guardian dogs, Yeti and Sybie, are joining us to celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary! Join us for an hour of gentle Goat Yoga fun! This activity will take place from 11-12 pm on July 24th. No yoga experience required, just a love for goats. Please be sure to bring your own yoga mat and meet at the designated "Goat Yoga Meeting Area" after you check in at the front desk. The minimum age requirement for this activity is 14 years or older.

Are you drawn to our resident wolfdogs? Are wolves your spirit animal? Learn how to draw a wolfdog in this step-by-step wolfdog drawing class taught by renowned local artist, Ashley Gaboury. This class will take place on site on the Sanctuary grounds where you can view and be inspired by the wolfdogs while you create your masterpiece! Trust us, this is not a class you will want to miss! All the supplies you will need to draw a wolfdog will be included in your ticket purchase. Ashley is a long-time supporting of the Sanctuary who has donated several of her art pieces over the years to the Sanctuary to help us raise funds for the wolfdogs.
