Plants, People and Purpose: How the way we eat holds the key to our future

Join us for a conversation about some of the most urgent matters of our time.  What are the challenges with our existing food systems?  How did they get that way?  Why should we care?  And how can we change them?

Our inspiring guests will share on these topics at a unique special event hosted by Artistri Sud, 5:30-7:30 on Wednesday, June 7.

  • Erik Chevrier, PhD, professor at Concordia University and founder of CultivAction urban agriculture cooperative.
  • Claire Lanctot, MBA, co-owner of Arlington Gardens organic farm in the Eastern Townships.
  • Clémence Briand-Racine, co-owner of organic farm, Ferme aux Colibris in Ripon, Quebec.

Artistri Sud Executive Director Jennifer Lonergan, PhD will also speak to the evolving direction of Artistri Sud, and how addressing the urgent needs of smallscale women farmers will achieve its mission of empowering women globally.
