Dr. Oba is a fellow of Carnegie Foundation, and the Tshepo Institute for the study of Contemporary Africa, board member of Black Lives Matter, Waterloo, past president of the African Canadian Association of Waterloo Region, affiliate of YouthRex hub at York University.
